" I remind myself that I’m human and its ok to admit that I made a mistake"
Finding a drugstore foundation can be difficult. There are no testers, the packaging makes it hard to see the true color of the foundation. In certain drugstores there is no one to help. What should you do than? Well I have two great tips to help achieve that perfect shade.
First is to understand skin complexion, they range from the fairest skin to the deepest darkest skin. Every single drugstore line uses this theory when lining up their foundation displays.
Next time your in the drugstore think to yourself “is my skin complexion close to the fairest skin or the deepest skin?. My answer to this question would be the darkest shade, I would than put my finger on the the darkest shade, and start working myself down wards. I’m usually one or two shades down from the darkest skin complexion. Sometimes you need to take your lighter shade and darker shade put them together to make that perfect match for your skin.
One more way you can find your shade is to utilize blogs and vlogs. This is not complicated, find a blogger/vlogger that seems to be the same complexion as you. See what drugstore shade they use and go buy that exact same one.
My go to blogger/vlogger is Destiny Godley thats my girl.
Drugstore foundation is hard but not impossible.
NATURALLY CLEANSE THE SKIN
I’ve been using a baking soda and water paste as a facial cleanser for about 6 months now. I make the paste with clean and sanitized tools. I than distribute the paste all over my face and let it sit for twenty minutes. Once the twenty minutes are up, I than take my facial brush and wash of the mixture.
My skin feels awesome it’s really clean, really smooth and exfoliated. It doesn’t dry my skin out or make it feel tight. Baking soda is a Bicarbonate, which means it naturally cleans. There is no harmful foreign products, that can harm you in any way with this cleanser. I made a vow to make some of my beauty products I use natural, due to the cancer scare. Giving your body a break from the chemicals is a good thing.
I really enjoyed this article. It made me giggle. The girls were bold, fun and adventurous. Also made me realize that fashion with celebrities has no boundaries, they can do whatever they want. I’m guessing thats one of the pluses of being a celeb.
